  • Wormhog are simply brilliant. Period. They have all the old heavy 70ties roots but a very distinguished and persuasive own sound. Can´t get enough. Can`t also wait for a second issue. Big Rock! Will we ever get more of this stuff?

  • I don't know what's going on in Greece but there are some bands blowing up over there. I'm really impressed with this, too many influences to name (well JP and Valient Thorr to name just a few IMHO). Great music, it's on steady rotation at our shop. Hopefully it won't be another 5 years before their next tunes drop.

  • There are a lot of reasons this album is #1 on the Doom Charts. Mine are at https://www.fuzzycracklins.com/2021/01/wormhog.html

  • A superb fusion of warm stoner fuzz and complex prog metal fronted by cool strong vocals. Full review here .... https://stonerking1.blogspot.com/2020/12/wormhog-yellow-sea-review.html

  • Something special going on here. Almost Tool-like driving rhythms, but with a nice crunch to the sound and a progressive bent, tho never noodly. But as with many of my favorites, it’s the vocals that stand out; rhythmic, melodic, and almost off-handedly casual in the delivery.
