Yawning Sons

Yawning Sons is the culmination of two instrumental rock bands [a=Sons of Alpha Centauri] and [a=Yawning Man]. In 2009 they released [r=1837503] on [l=Lexicon Devil] - the same label which also released albums from [a=Yawning Man], [a=Ten East] and [a=Dark Tooth Encounter]. A highly limited [r=3079150] split 7" release followed in 2011 which had been mastered at [a=Abbey Road Studios]. The core of Yawning Sons is primarily the members of [a=Sons of Alpha Centauri] and [a=Gary Arce]. However, several artists from the Palm Desert have also worked on the project including [a=Scott Reeder] from [a=Kyuss], [a=Mario Lalli] also from [a=Yawning Man] and [a=Fatso Jetson] and [a=Wendy Rae Fowler] mostly noted for her work in the [a=Mark Lanegan Band] and [a=Queens of the Stone Age].
