It takes a lot of talent to make something ugly sound cool, and the Melvins had mastered that art by the time they recorded the Gluey Porch Treatments album. The guitars grind, squeal, & drone, the drums pound & pummel, the bass grooves & adds heft to the mix, and Buzz wails like a maniac. The final product would go on to influence the weirdos of music for decades. Rock on!”
